"The Queen of Concrete Surfing", Shontel Anestasia is a Caribbean Spiritual Author, Owner of The Urban Gurvi Mama Shop, Photographer, Aspiring Film Director & Professional Longboarder based in Los Angeles, California. Shontel was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and raised by her Guyanese immigrant grandmother, Joyce, who paved the way for her to be a spiritual practitioner today. She's a Daughter of Olokun & and initiated into the Lukumi Lineage of Ifa. Shontel is also a Practioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a student of Vedic sister sciences Jyotish aka Vedic (Indian) Astrology and Vastu Shastra, and an Ayurveda Practioner.

Shontel Anestasia is our modern-day Medicine Woman and Mystic. She embraces old-school traditions and specializes in Cleansing, purification rituals, and Womb Healing. Embracing the modalities of her Caribbean, Indian, and African Lineage, she's changing the landscape of how women heal their body, mind, and spirit with a holistic approach to synthesizing African Spirituality, Integrative Psychology, and the Vedic Sciences.

With her spiritual teachings, certifications and herbal remedies, since 2016, Shontel has devoted much of her career uplifitng over 350,000 women through her social media channels, Visual Art & The Urban Gurvi Mama Shop, an eco-friendly and international Afro-Caribbean Spiritual Shop & Apothecary for Divine Feminine based in Los Angeles. Under the guidance of her Egun & Elders, she strives to create a safe and healing space for the Divine Feminine whatever stage they're on in their Spiritual Journey.
